This stripes on stripes thing works really well. It is such an easy way to act like a pro at the print mixing stuff. I have a post on mixing prints here. Read it if you like :).
I added the same utility jacket I wore here for some cover up and to give it a more laid back look. Have a lovely day.
shoes: old from zara but try these, top: gift (try this), skirt is really old from forever 21, but look at this really cool one, try this utility jacket from Zara
Black and white is my thing. And I’m not talking about the “when all fails you can fall on black and white”, I am really into that stuff. Anyway, I dress up to take the little one to day care or at least I try to. Here is me trying. Have fun with it! (By it I mean FASHION)
Top:f21, try this, jeans: same ones I wore here, shoes:stevemadden, try these, sunnies: LeSpecs
These moccasins have been speaking to me a lot. My love for low heeled shoes have increased a little bit. I don’t know why though. I guess having to run around after a three year old will do that to ya!
If you’re loving them as much as I do buy them here
Some coat ideas for those looking to buy for this upcoming season. Which is your fav? Links are below, just in case you want to buy 🙂
Thinking about some boots from Zara for this fall. These are the ones I love, but since I’m on a spending freeze….
Simple and easy to wear for classes, around town, or on a daytime date. You can change out the flats for a pair of heels if you like or strappy sandals, its really up to you. Dressing up is fun, try it!
Nothing doing today just at home with the family which I always appreciate. Got the husband to take some trial pictures.
top: forever21, shorts: DIY cut offs from old navy, slides: target
The perfect closet to me is one that you walk into and have no trouble at all finding an outfit, no matter the occasion. Everything fits perfectly, looks good on you and flatters perfectly. In the pursuit of achieving this perfect closet there are a couple of things I kept in mind: what is my basic go to style and what things look good on me or flatter me. I needed to know this because all that other ‘stuff’ that did not fit into the categories of ‘my style’ or ‘look good on me’ had to go, I was not wearing them anyway and with me if I have not worn you the very first time I got you, the chances of me ever wearing you were slim, you were doomed.
But first I had to figure out my style, what I liked, here’s a big word, my ‘aesthetic’. consider yourself an artist. I mean you can wear what you want of course, I’m not saying do all this plenty work, but that’s what I did. I followed a lot of blogs, saved a ton of style outfits to my laptop, noticed a pattern and decided aha! this is what I like. Some of what I like below.
